The Lewis Sexton Scholarship Fund was established in 2016 by the Morris Industries Foundation in honor of Lewis Sexton, former President of the UAW Local 862. The Scholarship Fund will provide three awards of $5,000 non-renewable scholarships to children (or legal wards) of UAW 862 members or retirees who plan to attend college in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Awards will be paid over the course of two semesters.
Gatton College of Business and Economics
Morris Industries is proud to support the Gatton College of Business & Economics at the University of Kentucky. Nate Morris serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council where works closely with the college to expand its social entrepreneurship programs and initiatives. The new Gatton College of Business & Economics Building will open in October 2016.
